Just got finished listening to the Rock'n'Roll Geek Show featuring recordings he made at a Paul Stanley show. He really liked it. Worked on pix of Daytona's boardwalk while I listened.

AIM Mail & IE6 Pop-up blocker

When I tried to read my aim mail today while using IE6, I had to allow pop-ups. No such problem with MSN or Firefox.

3 days & 666 at 6, for 6

50th Anniversary Program

Tuesday, June 6th

The Bengies Drive-In Theatre's Grand Opening was on June 6, 1956.  The Bengies crosses into the 50th Anniversary Year on June 6th.  There is no official celebration until later in the summer, but we cannot let the screen be dark on June 6th.  Because it is a weeknight, we are setting up a shorter program.

So for June 6th we have put together a program to reflect the opening year's era of film.  I am fairly certain that when my Dad Jack, and his 2 brothers,  Paul and Hank Vogel opened the theatre 50 years ago Tuesday, they did not think about the Silver Anniversary Date being 666.

The Box Office will open 6/6/6 at 6pm, and admission will be $6.00 per car. That’s 5 –sixes, so we can make it a bit less “ominous.”  The full program schedule isbelow. It is loaded with the 50’s and era fun fare.  Bogart, Curtis, Lollobrigida, Lancaster, Steiger, Sterling, Magoo, McBoing Boing… and much, much more.  ALL Persons in Historically Registered Vehicles will get FREE admission on June 6th!</spanstyle="color:>

Join us as we light the screen on this notable night in the history of the Bengies Drive-In Theatre.
